Whatever form of vein disease you are suffering with, we have treatments available to help!
Many women (and men) cope with spider veins–small clusters of red, blue, or purple veins. While spider veins may appear anywhere on the body, they typically are found on the legs. Unlike varicose veins, spider veins are not raised.
Vein problems, such as varicose or spider veins, are often just cosmetic concerns. However, they may be signifying an underlying health issue known as chronic venous insufficiency or CVI.
Varicose veins affect one in five adults and about 16% of folks age 60 or older, adding up to 40 million people in the US alone. Varicose veins have a thick, rope-like appearance and typically appear on the legs. Women are at least twice as likely as men to develop them. Many people who have this condition may find the veins unsightly which can get in the way of one’s self-esteem.
Venous insufficiency can lead to leg swelling, pain, and cramping (also known as restless leg syndrome). Without treatment, these issues can get worse and lead to chronic venous insufficiency (CVI), which may contribute to leg ulcers or other skin issues.

Attentive with great customer service.
I have nothing but glowing reviews for Silhouette MD . The entire staff was very attentive and the customer service was excellent. My appointment was with Dr Ferdouse Sartawi and I highly recommend her. She was professional, knowledgeable and addressed all of my concerns. I left with a peace of mind and look forward to returning to see her in the future. Top notch center!
"Beauty is pain" does not apply with Dr. Sartawi.
“I can honestly say that I have never felt as comfortable at a Doctors’ office the way I did while at SilhouetteMD Aesthetics & Wellness. The saying “Beauty is Pain” does not apply when being a patient of Dr. Sartawi. She is the most gentle person, making sure she answered all of my questions and took her time to give me genuine advice.”
They really make you feel comfortable.
“Generally I am rarely perceptive of how I am received, especially by medical clinics, because some medical clinics are very impersonal. It is not easy to find a doctor who has a kind of personal relationship with the patient. You can feel the compassion, care, and efficiency. You know when you come here, you will be treated well, not just by the doctors, – just entering the reception desk, – all the staff – it makes a lot of difference because they are friendly faces and they really make you feel comfortable…”
When you have a skilled surgeon who can make you laugh, it makes a big difference in revovery.
“Dr. Aboufares took my case over from Dr. Ahmed after he retired. Dr. Aboufares is 30 years younger and I love his bedside manner. Most doctors are pretty great at what they know and do. But when you have a skilled surgeon who makes you laugh, that can make a difference in recovery. He cares. He is way ahead of the curve with new treatments. My expiration date was 5 years ago. He keeps extending that date. I sincerely wish that a few of my other doctors had his depth of caring. Yes, we see doctors for how good they are. But it’s nice to have one with a great bedside manner.”
